A professional and experienced consultant trainer with key skills in the delivery of information technology training programmes, including the design and deployment of large training programmes for corporate clients.

  • Fifteen years experience in the education and information technology sector including secondary school teacher, computer programmer and IT trainer.

  • Designed and delivered a training programme for a new system being used by the lexicographers of a world-leading dictionary.

  • Designed and delivered training courses for numerous in-house systems for a wide spectrum of business sectors, including accounting and invoicing, publishing and dictionaries.

  • Trained and motivated sales forces to develop new skills and accept change in the introduction of new technology based systems.

  • Designed and delivered many migration training programmes for corporate companies.

  • Experienced database developer.

BACKGROUND

The son of an international banker, David was born and raised in Brazil until the age of 10.  On his return to England he was educated at Oundle School in Northamptonshire before gaining his degree in Philosophy, Politics & Economics at University College, Oxford.

Following a period working in Mental Health, he undertook his PGCE at Homerton College, Cambridge and spent five years teaching at Secondary level.  Not satisfied with two careers, in 1998 he took the decision to work in Computer Programming and went to train with Computeach a year later.  He has worked in this field for the past 10 years and brought all his teaching, and possibly some of his Mental Health, experience to bear in his work with GreenMarch.  In 2005, he joined Kate as a director of the company.

He is happily married to Emma, who runs a natural burial ground, and their son Joshua is currently at university.  When not learning a new discipline, David is often to be found working on his allotment or helping out at the burial ground. He also writes the odd song, and is a keen Radio 4 listener.
